Dracula - Bram Stoker I'm always a bit undecided about this book. It's not the greatest piece of literature ever written, far from it, but it's not bad either. It's interesting and the pages do have a tendency to turn on their own, if you know what I mean. But this book is also one of the firsts of it's kind and for that it does deserve some credit and acknowledgement. If it wasn't for its immense success (and its numerous dramatisations) we for sure would not have seen the likes of Stephenie Meyer, Charlaine Harris, L.J. Smith, MaryJanice Davidson... no wait, what am I saying !!?!?! Somebody, please take that type writer away from Bram Stoker!

And on a side note - I actually enjoyed reading this more in Italian than I did when I read it English. Go figure.
