The Yellow Wallpaper - Elaine Hedges, Charlotte Perkins Gilman It was nice to read this significant piece of feminist literature again - literally, it's been decades since I've last read it. I can understand both why it has been "hidden-away" by the establishment when it was originally written and that it had to wait nearly 50 years before it again became known to the public. I'm pleased to say that women, today, are in a better place than when this story was written - but not by much mind you, especially the further you go beyond our north-western hemisphere...
